Continuing with our giving to the community promise, this quarter the Dyspraxia Foundation in Hitchin was our chosen charity to donate to.
The Dyspraxia Foundation acts as an irreplaceable resource and information centre for parents, carers, health and education professionals and those with dyspraxia wishing to learn more about the condition, its diagnosis and treatment.
They rely solely on voluntary donations, memberships and fundraising. The condition receives no direct government funding, which effects state services, diagnosis, education, social services and employment for people with dyspraxia. This puts enormous pressure on their helpline.
