The Role

Our client is a well-established company with an excellent reputation for supplying the highest quality Marquees/tents for high end corporate and private events around the UK.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an additional team member to be part of the team, joining them as a Events Office Manager.

 


Responsibilities

  • First impressions count especially when you will be the first point of contact for new and existing customers, you will need a high level of customer service skills both on the phone and via email with an optimistic positive outlook ensuring the customers’ needs are meet.
  • Sending quotations, taking bookings and sending relevant paperwork and issuing invoices, comprehensive training will be given.
  • You will need to be organised, efficient, happy to work alone (when the teams on site) and have the ability to prioritise work especially during the peak business period May-September. Its important to note that during this busy period you will be required to work additional hours to support the needs of the business.
  • Liaising with the customer to ensure they are always kept informed of dates/ timings and to be the point of contact for any booking adjustments.
  • Teamwork is key as you will be ensuring the installation/rigging crew has all the information they require on the day.
  • On occasions during peak hours, you may be required to load vans ready for an early start the following day to save time in the morning
  • Good understanding of Microsoft and the ability to learn a bespoke booking system

 

 


Candidate Specification

  • Friendly, outgoing personality with an optimistic approach to problem solving and working towards the aim of complete customer satisfaction
  • You must enjoy working as part of a team but equally be confident to work alone while crews are on site
  • Hours are 8am-4pm Monday-Friday, however due to the nature of the business you will be required to work additional hours between May-September.
  • Must enjoy working in a rural location
  • Own transport is essential, you will not be able to commute via bus or train!
  • Salary package is competitive dependant on the level of experience
